If I could wear my iPod all day...
Why is this song making me emotional right now?
I heard the tail end of the song on the radio yesterday, so I was thinking about it again today and decided to put it on my iPod. Sounds like a good workout song, right?
But something about this song reminds me of good times. Good times with my besties... I miss those times. I miss hanging out with my friends. And then I started thinking about the good times I had in 2009 when I was newly separated, in full-party mode, and the thinnest I've been since 2005.
**sigh**
Well, I certainly can't dwell in the past.
I've done so much better this week, but I think I just channeled some new-found motivation. Something from deep within that I forgot was there. I haven't felt that little part of myself in a while. It's hard to describe.
I love music. If I could wear my iPod all day I would stay so motivated all the time!
Only 26 days of school! Woo hoo!

That is an awesome workout song. Our zumba instuctor using a remix to that song as a warm up and it totally gets me pumped up! I agree with music as a motivator. On saturdays I like to play Pandora to clean. I spend more time dancing than cleaning. I have 30 something more days to go....summer can't get here fast enough.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree about needing a soundtrack playing thought the day for motivation. Music is huge for me while working out. The rhythm keeps my feet pounding along while riding the bike. If only I could convince my boss to let me listen to music while I work. Honestly though, it would be difficult not to sing along!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your journey. I am a new blogger and decided to write my journey to better health. I will be 60 in September and in June I will be flying to PA to meet my two sisters and brother for the first time. I so want to be able to fit in the seat on the plane!! Sound familiar. I just can't seem to get started. I take one step forward to 3 steps backward. Any suggestions?
