Happy New Year!

It's a new year, and once again I will resolve to continue this weight loss journey. Honestly, I am SO HAPPY this holiday season is over! I have tried and tried to get focused, but when you are in the middle of a holiday season that revolves around food its hard to detox and get going on a diet plan. But I am ready to give it my best shot. Again.

I have been cleaning out my pantry today, and I will hammer down some kind of exercise routine tomorrow. It's just TOO COLD to walk outside, and my gym membership has expired. Good thing I have tons of fitness DVD's to choose from. I feel like starting big and maybe trying the 30-day shred. I really don't feel like baby steps at this point. I have GAINED A LOT OF WEIGHT. My jeans are TIGHT. UGH!!!

I can't wait to catch up on everyone's blogs and reading about renewed commitments!!

  2. I agree, SO glad the holidays are over. I enjoyed Christmas, but I am quite ready to get on with normal life and getting healthier!

  4. I'm grateful to have the "eating season" over with, too. Don't you just love fresh starts? The new year is a great time to refocus, and double our efforts. Good Luck!

  5. Oh my god the 30-day shred is wonderful! Good choice! I've been doing that for the last three months and it's working! Plus the interval training gives you some time to breath! Oh hoorah for the new year. We're all going to get trim and lovely!

    If you're a fan of Jillian (which clearly I am), you've gotta read Mastering your Metabolism. I got it for Christmas and it's really changed the way I'm thinking about food.

  6. I think we all fell into the holiday trap. You will get back on plan and do well cause 2010 is our year!!! Good luck wit getting back on ca do this.

    P.S. I am starting the P90X tomorrow.
