I lost 1 lb this week. I'm okay with that, considering the cornbread incident and lack of exercise. AND I'm constipated...what's up with that? I eat more than the DRA of fiber everyday, and drink 8 - 10 glasses of water. Oh, well.

Goals for this week:

1. Get back on the exercise wagon.
2. Eat more f/v.
3. Stay within my points allowance and continue to journal each day.
4. Drink 8 - 10 cups of water each day.

  1. Sometimes stress makes us constipated. I know when I get nervous right before a test I get that way.

  2. Good job on the loss this week. Not sure what the constipation is about. Could be stress...sometimes not enough water will do it. Hope you're feeling 'relieved' soon. :) Btw, your kids are adorable!!!

    Some suggestions with the constipation- make SURE you are getting in your healthy fats each day. Without these, you can indeed get constipated. Two other things that help to get things moving along is a walk or a ride on the bike- the massaging action of the ab muscles with these help a lot. if all else fails, some people SWEAR bu a tablespoon of lemon juice in warm water. Gets things moving.

  6. Great loss! Make sure you are eating enough fat! That can cause constipation, especially if you up your fiber.
